We are searching for volunteers who can take on the following roles for the 2024-2025 season:
Chair, Player Development
(or Co-Chair - volunteer with a friend!)
This role is responsible for the inception, coordination, and execution of skills development for Members of our club.
From ONCurl workshops, to clinics offered by in-house experts, the Chair (or Co-Chairs) support our members by providing a monthly skills development opportunity.
The ideal candidate will be eager to investigate current trends in Curling, skilled at connecting with Members to gauge interest in specific topics, and able to provide a well-organized experience for all participants.

Chair, Learn2Curl
(or Co-Chair - volunteer with a friend!)
This role is responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of the Learn 2 Curl program offered in November/December at the Gravenhurst Curling Club.
The Chair (or Co-Chairs) will book ice time, recruit volunteers from our membership and work with the Marketing & Communications Committee to advertise the program to the public. The Chair will also be the main point of contact for participants of the program as they transition to league play in January.
The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, and able to commit to being on-site for each session of Learn2Curl. Candidates are also welcome to bring new and fresh ideas to the initiative to garner extended interest from the community.
